Poltraf with a broad offer for NetZero Energy and H2POLAND
The safety of hydrogen installations will be taken care of by Poltraf, an exhibitor at NetZero Energy and H2POLAND.
Due to the specific properties of hydrogen, i.e. flammability, lightness, lack of odour and colour, hydrogen systems require special precautions. The safety of hydrogen systems will be taken care of by Poltraf, a company with 30 years' experience in the distribution of control and measurement equipment from recognised European and American manufacturers.
How? By:
- hydrogen pressure monitoring,
- hydrogen leakage control
- hydrogen flow control,
- controlling hydrogen concentration in the air.
Poltraf offers the NHT 8250 pressure transmitter from Swiss manufacturer Trafag. It features a thin-film sensor on steel made of a hydrogen-compatible, high-performance steel alloy for maximum signal stability. The transmitter is certified in accordance with EC79/2009, i.e. it can be used in hydrogen-powered vehicles.
For hydrogen leakage control, the portable Panther detector from British manufacturer ION Science can be used, or the stationary hydrogen leakage control system, Smart Box Control, which allows the connection of up to 12 sensors and remote notification of events.
The range of hydrogen equipment is complemented by solenoid valves from Swiss manufacturer ValEvo. The 175 series is designed for hydrogen systems up to 500 bar, while the 171 series will find use in hydrogen systems up to 1100 bar.
The CSW sensor, on the other hand, provides accurate and continuous monitoring of hydrogen vapour concentrations. It can be easily integrated into existing safety monitoring systems.
