The initiative was created during this year's edition of H2POLAND & Net Zero Forum.

This is the result of constructive discussions between entrepreneurs, scientists and enthusiasts involved in hydrogen technologies, gathered, among others, as part of the Greater Poland Hydrogen Platform, a body established by the Local Government of the Greater Poland Voivodeship.

- I am glad that thanks to the Wielkopolska Hydrogen Platform, which I have the pleasure to chair, this valuable initiative was created. This will undoubtedly accelerate the process of implementing hydrogen technologies and will enable members of the chamber to apply for external funds, including European funds - said Jacek Bogusławski - Member of the Management Board of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship.

The Polish Chamber of Hydrogen will unite entrepreneurs and institutions around the idea of a zero-emission economy. PIW's mission is to unite the hydrogen technology community and develop hydrogen initiatives.

- We are here to support hydrogen initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and environmental protection. We believe that hydrogen is the key to the future of our planet, and the Polish Chamber of Hydrogen aims to accelerate this process. - says prof. Michał Wieczorowski, who was elected chairman of the initiative group of the Polish Chamber of Hydrogen. The purpose of establishing the Chamber is, among others, cooperation with state and local government bodies in shaping hydrogen policy in legal aspects, and at the same time disseminating good practices, which are abundant in Greater Poland, adds the Professor.

- Today, we already have many examples in Poland, mainly in Greater Poland, of the use of this technology in housing, transport and industry. The transfer of knowledge, good practices and practical applications will be a huge advantage of the Polish Chamber of Hydrogen - said Dr. Adam Lewandowski.

The Polish Chamber of Hydrogen, through cooperation and exchange of experiences, also aims to contribute to the promotion of education of specialists in the field of hydrogen technologies, conducting extensive educational and training activities.

- I am extremely interested in the activities of the Chamber, because for many years we have been promoting the development of new technologies, including: on the hydrogen economy. As the Greater Poland Voivodeship, we are the first Polish region to have its own Hydrogen Strategy until 2030 with a perspective until 2040, as well as a specially dedicated networking platform, i.e. the Greater Poland Hydrogen Platform. This allows us to believe that together we will achieve success. - said Jacek Bogusławski, Member of the Board of the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
