Hydrogen is the fuel of the present
Hydrogen is undergoing a rapid transformation - from a fuel of the future, it is becoming an increasingly available resource.
The first hydrogen refueling stations built by ORLEN Group are in operation, and thousands of passengers a day are using city buses that use the fuel. The first hydrogen locomotive in Poland has also appeared. All because low- and zero-emission hydrogen is the perfect answer to reducing the carbon footprint and an important step towards achieving ORLEN's carbon neutrality in 2050.

ORLEN Group is becoming one of the leaders in this innovative segment in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. By 2035, it plans to use more than 350,000 tons of hydrogen per year and build a network of more than 100 refueling stations for this fuel in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The development of hydrogen technology also involves investment in education. ORLEN's H2 Academy program is educating future hydrogen economy specialists.
